7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited Vehicle Uses
- Use of the vehicle for any unlawful activities is strictly prohibited. This includes participation in racing, rallying, off-roading, or any other dangerous pursuits. Transporting hazardous materials or allowing unauthorized drivers is not allowed. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is unacceptable. The vehicle must be used in accordance with its intended purpose, and all passenger and weight limits must be respected. Additionally, driving outside the specified geographical boundaries requires prior authorization.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental termination and fees.
8. Liability Restrictions
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire Stalybridge will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, that may arise from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims is limited to the rental amount paid in the last 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence or fraud.
